He retired as a major with the Raleigh (N.C.) Police Department and was a member of Gulf to Lake Baptist Church, Crystal River.   • AMASON, WILLIE HORTON, 84, of Brandon, died Sunday (Feb. 4, 2001) in Tampa. Born in Edwardsburg, Mich., he came here in 1967. He was an electrician, an Army veteran of World War II, and he earned a European-African-Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Medal with two bronze service stars, a Good Conduct Medal and a World War II Victory Medal. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Brandon. She was a music teacher, she played cello with the Sarasota Pops Orchestra, she worked for Sun City Security Patrol, was a member of Sigma Alpha Iota and Chi Omega sororities, was director of the Sunpoint Chamber Orchestra, a graduate of the University of Southern California with a degree in music, and was a member of United Community Church of Sun City Center, where she sang in the chorus and played in the orchestra. He was an air-conditioning and refrigeration mechanic with Sears, retiring in 1974. He owned the Dari Castle on Park Boulevard in Pinellas Park during the 1960s. He was a welder in a Navy shipyard in Baltimore during World War II and was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Rockville.     • BURNS, ALAN R., 55, of East Falmouth, Mass., a winter resident of Clearwater, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2001) at home of cancer. He was born in Arlington, Mass., and was a winter resident here since 1990 from Brockton, Mass., where he retired in 1990 from the Brockton Police Department. He was an Army veteran. He was a Red Sox and Patriots fan and liked bowling. He was Catholic and a member of the Massachusetts Police Association. Survivors include his wife, Anne F.     • NOLTON, ANGELA PAT, 40, of St. Petersburg, died Sunday (Feb. 4, 2001) at home. Born in Thomaston, Ga., she came here in 1976 from Butler, Ga. She attended Boca Ciega High School and Union Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Donald A. Robinson, Willie D. Nolton and Odale N. Nolton, all of St. Petersburg; three daughters, Octavia Nolton, St. Petersburg, and Robin T. Foster and Toni G. Foster, both of Butler; her mother, Ida Robinson, and her father, John Henry Nolton, both of Butler; five brothers, Johnny Nolton, Gregory Nolton and Glenn D. Rockquemore, all of St. Petersburg, Robert Nolton, Miami, and Quinton K. Nolton, Oakdale, La.; three sisters, Darlene Harmon and Virginia Harmon, both of St. Petersburg, and Beatrice T.     • PIKE, ALDEN K. "BUCKY," 76, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2001) at home. Born in Alameda, Calif., he came here in 1948 from Clinton Corner, N.Y.. He was a manager at Ross Chevrolet in St. Petersburg, retiring after 35 years. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, serving as a sergeant with the 90th Bomber Group in the South Pacific theater. He was a graduate of the Oakwood School, a Quaker boarding school in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., and was a graduate of the University of Florida, Gainesville. He was a member of Pasadena Community Church and served for several years with the Azalea Little League. Survivors include a son, Lindsay Pike, Brandon; a daughter, Betsy Collins Burkleo, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and five grandchildren. National Cremation Society, St. Petersburg.
    • REGAL, ANDREW FELIX, 88, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2001) at Integrated Health Services of Pinellas Park. He came here in 1965 from his native Grindstone, Pa. He was an auto mechanic and retired from Maher Chevrolet in St. Petersburg. He was a member and usher at the Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include four daughters, Theresa Eichberger, Spring Hill, Cecilia "C.C." Donnelly and Genevieve "Gennie" Cozze, both of St. Petersburg, and Anna Ferrell, Shelbyville, Tenn.; a brother, Peter, Brownsville, Pa.; two sisters, Frances Levkulich, Cleveland, and Virginia Nemetz, West Brownsville, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.     • SANDERS, HERBERT N. "TRACEY," 48, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (Jan. 31, 2001) at South Heritage Nursing Center. A native and lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, he attended St. Petersburg High School and St. Petersburg Junior College. He was a teacher at Jordan Park Headstart for 25 years, and served as a clerk at Rentall City for 10 years. Survivors include a son, Quinton Phillips, Dade City; three sisters, Beulah Thompson, Linda Thompson and Geraldine Kidd, two brothers, Michael Thompson and Zachary Thompson, all of St. Petersburg; and four uncles and two aunts.     • SCHANZENBACH, ERNEST, 93, of Palm Harbor, formerly of St. Petersburg and Clearwater, died Saturday (Feb. 3, 2001) at Westchester Gardens Rehabilitation and Care Center, Clearwater. He was born in Toms River, N.J., came to St. Petersburg in 1956 from Tenafly, N.J., moved in 1980 to Clearwater and moved in 1991 to Palm Harbor. He owned and operated A&E Builders, St. Petersburg, and was a member of the Contractor & Builders Association of Pinellas County. He was a member of Espiritu Santo Catholic Church, Safety Harbor. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Anne; two daughters, Elaine Schanzenbach Campbell, Westport, Conn., and Robin Schanzenbach Furberg, New York City; and a granddaughter, Jessica Campbell, Westport.     • SPITZ, MADELEINE A., 95, of St. Petersburg, died Thursday (Jan. 25, 2001) at St. Anthony's Hospital. Born in New York City, she came here in the 1960s from Pittsburgh. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and a volunteer for many years at Bon Secours Maria Manor Nursing Home. Survivors include two nieces, Patricia McDermott, White Plains, N.Y., and Barbara Bonaventura, Deerfield Beach; and a cousin, Gregory Moelter, Charlotte, N.C. Neptune Society of Palm Harbor.
