New library ready to open

Classes offered for parents of infants
The Tampa-Hillsborough County Public Library System offers free classes at branch libraries to teach parents how to read books to their infants, ages newborn to 2 1/2 years old. The classes will show parents books, stories, songs and finger games.
Winter provides best time for plenty of chores in yard
Don't be too anxious to remove your cold-damaged plant materials. We may still have some cold weather. Pruning will encourage new growth, and this new growth is more susceptible to damage from the cold. Wait for a couple of weeks. There are plenty of other chores to complete in your yard this time of the year.
