The Queen of Hearts Ball Saturday night gave a lot of hard-working volunteers an opportunity to relax and have a glamorous evening at the TradeWinds Island Grand Resort, which is exactly what gala chairwoman Catherine McGarry did not get to do, even after she and her committee garnered a record number of reservations, upper-category patronages and a haul of silent auction and raffle items. When you are in charge, you do not relax, though Mrs. McGarry did look glamorous.
