Separate car accidents kill one, injure eight
ST. PETERSBURG -- A truck hauling slabs of old concrete roadway lost part of its load on northbound Interstate 275 Wednesday morning. It shattered, causing at least four accidents, sending three people to the hospital and snarling northbound and southbound traffic for several hours.
Free tax assistance
These sites are open through April 15 for free tax assistance offered by Volunteer Income Tax Assistance project (VITA) and AARP, formerly known as American Association of Retired Persons (for older taxpayers). Taxpayers should bring all pertinent records and last year's returns to the sites.
