||In no mood for clowning

Despite coaxing from his grandmother Charlene Abbot of Sarasota, 2-year-old Clay Bonsall didn't warm up to Buco the clown (played by Jim Mustascio) before the Egypt circus on Friday. The circus has three shows today - 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. - on the USF campus.
Shots fired in Tampa restaurant
At least two gunmen trying to rob a McDonald's in Tampa shortly after 11 p.m. Friday shot a Hillsborough sheriff's deputy. A gunman also was shot. The deputy was in stable condition at St. Joseph's Hospital. About 1 a.m., the SWAT team began bringing employees out of the building at N Dale Mabry Highway and Spruce Street.
