In no mood for clowning

Shots fired in Tampa restaurant
At least two gunmen trying to rob a McDonald's in Tampa shortly after 11 p.m. Friday shot a Hillsborough sheriff's deputy. A gunman also was shot. The deputy was in stable condition at St. Joseph's Hospital. About 1 a.m., the SWAT team began bringing employees out of the building at N Dale Mabry Highway and Spruce Street.
