PORT RICHEY -- Ridgewood High School sophomore Jimmy Priest died Friday from injuries he suffered in an April 3 accident on U.S. 19 in New Port Richey. He was 16. He was to start at quarterback next season.

A Hudson man led a Pasco County Sheriff's deputy on a wild, hourlong chase -- circling through much of west Pasco -- early Saturday morning before he jumped from his car and was arrested in the woods near the Suncoast Parkway in Shady Hills.

Pasco High class of '61 to hold reunion in June
The Class of 1961 from Pasco High School is this year's host for the Reunion of Decades to be held June 9 in the Dan Cannon Auditorium at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, State Road 52, Dade City. The reunion committee invites alumni from the class of '71 and any Pasco High alumni who graduated prior to that date. Registration and social hour begins at 5 p.m. and dinner at 6:30 p.m., followed by a program at 8 p.m. The cost is $30 per person, payable to Pasco High Reunion, P.O.
