Refund took months, not weeks
On Sept. 9, I purchased a foreign language CD-ROM from Best Buy in St. Petersburg with a $50 rebate. I immediately mailed all the required paperwork including the UPC. In December, I called the number on the rebate form and was unable to receive any satisfaction. I went to Best Buy. It made a call and obtained a new telephone number. Best Buy was informed that a check would be received in January. I have been calling regularly since then, and each time I am informed that I will receive a check in two weeks.
