Should I speak up? And will they listen?
I wonder what would happen if I decided to speak up around this place. It seems that almost every time I speak up, I get put down or ignored. I try to give my point of view, but so often it seems that everyone is just too busy to listen. When my parents ask me for my opinion, I would like to think that they are really interested in hearing it. I am not so sure. I would like them to ask my opinion instead of leaving me out of decisions that they make concerning my life.
