  • GEIB, LILLIAN, 96, of Inverness, died Tuesday (May 2, 2000). Born in Auport, Pa., she came here nine years ago from St. Claire Shores, Mich. She was Lutheran and a member of the Fratenal Order of the Eagles, Warren, Mich. Survivors include two daughters, Lovell M. Maxlow, Inverness, and Betty L. He came here in 1952 from his native Richmond, Ind., where he was founder of Lawler Department Store, which he owned from 1932 to 1952. He also worked as a real estate developer and manager of Yardage Unlimited, St. Petersburg and Clearwater. He was an usher at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, served on the board of directors for Pinellas Central Bank, Southeast Bank of Largo and Indian Rocks Bank, and was a member of Knights of Columbus, Elks and Kiwanis Club. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Thomas and Nancy McConnell, both of St. Petersburg; five grandchildren, Wendy Carvalis, Leigh McConnell and John P. She was the owner and operator of Hillcrest Motel, Clearwater. She was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Clearwater. Survivors include a son, Daniel, Clearwater; three daughters, Frances Leahy, Joanne Yohe and Mary LaMastra, all of Clearwater; a brother, Francis Dougherty, Ridley, Pa.; a sister, Rachel Avery, Haverford, Pa.; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
