ST. PETERSBURG -- Christine R. Hollins, a member of a Suncoast family of pioneers with roots in the development of Pinellas and Citrus counties, died Friday (May 5, 2000) at home. She was 87.

Bands to wrap up rock festival today
CRYSTAL RIVER -- Rick Derringer, the rocker responsible for such hits as Hang On Sloopy and Rock 'n Roll, Hoochie Koo will perform tonight at the Garden Pavilion at Rock Crusher Canyon as the two-day rock and blues festival heads into the home stretch. The Rick Derringer Band performs at 9 p.m. at the pavilion, 275 S Rock Crusher Road. Before Derringer takes the stage, Keith Caton and the Accelerators perform at 7 p.m., while N2Deep kicks off the rock show at 5. Also today, a motorcycle show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the pavilion. Admission is free to the motorcycle show, and it will be cleared out before the concert. Concert tickets are $18.
