GIBSON, RUBY ELLEN, 47, of Homosassa, died Thursday (May 11, 2000) at home. Born in Parkersburg, W.Va., she came here two years ago from Ohio and was a homemaker. She was Baptist. MCKENDRY, JOHN R., 82, of Timber Pines, Spring Hill, died Wednesday (May 10, 2000) at the Hospice House. Born in Philadelphia, he came here 14 years ago from Olympia Fields, Ill. He was retired from Allis-Chalmers Corp. and was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. RABIROFF, CAROL LAWRENCE, 67, of Clearwater, died Wednesday (May 10, 2000) at Arbors at St. Petersburg. She was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., and came here in 1988 from Long Island, N.Y. ZABRISKIE, ROSE S. BENSON, 76, of Clearwater, died Tuesday (May 9, 2000) at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. She was born in Bloomington, Ill., and came here in 1957. She graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she was a member of Sigma Kappa and editor of the Argus newspaper. She was a member and organist at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Clearwater, where she served as president of the Relief Society. She was also a temple worker in the Atlanta and Orlando temples. - KUCHTA, EVELYN C. "AUNTIE EV," 88, of Fort Worth, Texas, formerly of Largo, died Saturday (May 6, 2000) at Alta Mesa Nursing Center, Fort Worth. She moved to Largo in 1961 from her native Cleveland and last November moved from Largo to Fort Worth. She was a private duty nurse's aide and had worked for Mease Manor in Dunedin. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Largo, and sang in its choir. Survivors include a sister, Mary Jane Moody, Fort Worth; a brother, James Kotapish, Chagrin Falls, Ohio; 15 nieces and nephews; a grandson; and three great-grandchildren. - PUGLISI, ATTILIO G. "PUG," 77, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (May 10, 2000) while visiting a daughter in North Carolina. He was born near Mount Etna in Sicily and came to this country at age 5, growing up in Schenectady, N.Y. He came here in 1956. He was an artist and craftsman who designed a miniature wetland for the Science Center and adorned his adopted city with intricate mosaics. He studied at Winthrop School of Ceramics, Washington, D.C., and was a retired designer for Cypress Gardens and SeaWorld.
