Anclote Key light has bright future
For several years we have heard about plans to restore the Anclote Key lighthouse -- to "relight the light." The day that we will be able to see its splendid beam across the waters of the gulf is getting closer to reality. The funds for constructing an operating dock and a house have been allocated. Also, a park ranger has been selected and scheduled to live on the island as soon as the house is completed.

23-year-old's body is found in lake
PALM HARBOR -- The body of a 23-year-old Tarpon Springs man was found floating in the middle of Lake Tarpon on Sunday afternoon, more than a day after he was reported missing after falling off a personal watercraft.
