After a year of rumor mongering and community apprehension, Vitality Beverages announced plans to expand, not curtail, production at its Dade City juice-packaging plant. It is welcome news from the county's largest manufacturing employer.
Don't encourage more development
Editor: I disagree with the Ridge Road extension. We have no water now, and it would be good to give wildlife a half-a-chance. Do we need to encourage another development?
Woman killed when car runs light
PORT RICHEY -- A 22-year-old Hudson woman was killed Saturday night when a car she was riding in ran a red light at Regency Park and Embassy boulevards, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
