Port Richey changes watering days
PORT RICHEY -- The Port Richey City Council voted 5-0 Tuesday night to change watering restrictions again, spreading watering days throughout the weekdays. The restrictions were brought up on an emergency basis by City Manager Vince Lupo on the same day the Pasco County Commission voted to enact the same restrictions. Here is the schedule used by both Port Richey and the county:

Gas pipeline posturing should not go too far
The Pasco County Commission's objection to a natural gas pipeline is more tactical than practical. It gives the county a bargaining position, but the decision last week to file a formal objection with federal regulators shouldn't be construed as a legitimate attempt to keep the Williams Buccaneer Natural Gas Pipeline outside the county.
