ALTERNATIVE CALENDAR: Lecanto Primary School is seeking students to attend school on the alternative calendar schedule. The students attend school the same number of days as those on the traditional calendar, but their breaks during the year differ. Students following the alternative calendar attend school in nine-week blocks, followed by three-week breaks. There is a four-week break during the summer. For information about the benefits of the alternative calendar, call Patti Maltese at 746-2220.
