New doors don't keep the rain out
In September 1999, I had City Glass of St. Petersburg install sliding glass doors on my patio for the purpose of keeping out rain. Everything appeared to be quite satisfactory. However, with the first rain, water seeped in under the doors onto the patio tile floor. I notified City Glass, and it promptly had a serviceman call. He advised me that it would be necessary for me to drill weep holes in the base of the door channel to insure proper drainage. I did so, but the next time it rained the problem reappeared. He came back and widened the holes, but that did not help.
