Judge censured for contempt ruling
TAMPA -- The 2nd District Court of Appeal ruled Friday that a local judge erred when he sent a man to jail for failing to pay child support.
Percussionist Ramon Lopez dies
Ramon H. Lopez, a Tampa Latin percussionist known for his powerful hands and a long stint with the Stan Kenton Orchestra, died Monday (May 29, 2000) at the Home Association of natural causes. He was 66.
