OFF-CAMPUS BOOKSELLER TAKES A STAND: University of South Florida police arrested a bookseller Wednesday and charged him with trespassing, a first-degree misdemeanor. Byran Lord, 35, contends he has been fighting for students' rights since he opened the first of his three off-campus bookstores in 1990. He became more militant when USF's police department threw him off campus for soliciting business from incoming freshmen during orientation.

Developer seeks to expand office park

LUTZ -- Residents and businesses in Lutz will have a year to use up all their old stationery and notify everyone of their new addresses. On July 1, three new ZIP codes will be established for Lutz. In addition to 33549, Lutz addresses will carry 33548, 33558 and 33559.

Road work
1. INTERSTATE 275, from Busch Boulevard to U.S. 41, will have periodic nighttime lane closures. Also watch for construction at Busch Boulevard and Fowler Avenue near the interstate. Work will continue until two new lanes are complete in fall 2002.

Accident report
1. INTERSTATE 275 AT DALE MABRY HIGHWAY, JUNE 1, 10:29 A.M.: A southbound 1996 Honda lost control on the wet pavement at an exit ramp. The vehicle spun clockwise, hit a sign marker and came to rest facing the wrong way on the ramp.
