Repair our crumbling streets now
Editor: We have just returned from North Carolina, where even the country roads are paved, smooth and without potholes and disintegrating asphalt. We noted the recent letter to the editor submitted by one of our neighbors, Roma McGuire, concerning "road work should be completed more efficiently," this having been saved for us by friends who are aware of how upset we are at the lack of maintenance on just those roads mentioned by Ms. McGuire.
