When Tiger Woods first burst on the scene, he was credited with making golf attractive to millions of people who historically had been excluded from the game. Young, athletic, charismatic, a walking melting pot of ethnicities, Woods transformed the image of a pastime previously associated with rich old men at country clubs. Inspired by Woods, everyone -- young, old, black, white, rich, poor, male, female -- seemed to be taking up golf.
Estate tax is unethical and should be killed
Your one-sided assault on the movement in Congress to repeal the inheritance tax is yet another example of media elites telling the masses that government has a more rightful claim on their income than those who did the actual work to earn that income.
Price of justice
The cost of the death penalty -- the price tag on a capital sentence and possibly taking an innocent life -- may be reason to consider life sentences.
