  • COE, TILLIE ANDERSON, 81, of Hernando, died Monday (June 19, 2000). Born in Quitman, Ga., she came here 29 years ago from Sarasota. She was a retired elementary school teacher in Sarasota before becoming a Realtor. She was a member of Hernando United Methodist Church and the Kappa Delta Gamma Sorority. Survivors include two sons, Wallace L. Jr., Gainesville, and Philip S., Fayetteville, Ga.; a daughter, Dolores, Tampa; two sisters, Helen Thomas, Hernando, and Phyllis Smith, Inverness; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She retired after 30 years as an avionics technician for Honeywell. She was a member of Honeybelles; a clown with the Lolli-Poppers Clown Alley No. 95 in St. Petersburg; an active member of Civil War re-enactors; a member of the Living History Association; the National Rifle Association; Florida Indian Re-enactment Society; National Civil War Artillery Association; an associate member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy; the AlcaldeAssociation of Ybor City; Sheriff's Association of West Tampa; and active with the Special Olympics. He retired after 22 years in the Army with the rank of staff sergeant and served with the 144th Combat Engineers. He was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was born in Cleveland, came to Clearwater in 1956 and later moved to St. Petersburg. He was president and founder of Southern Industrial Supply Co. He was an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II and a P-51 fighter pilot instructor at Marana Air Force Base in Arizona. He flew missions out of Huntington Royal Air Force Base, England, and was awarded a gold medal by King Gustaf of Sweden. He was a member of Pasadena Community Church, 364th Fighter Pilots Group Association, Eighth Air Force Association, Antelope Club and Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.     • YEAGER, SHAWN JOSEPH, 33, of South Pasadena, died Thursday (June 15, 2000). He came here in 1999 from his native Philadelphia. He was a landscaper and was Catholic. Survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Yeager, Philadelphia; two sisters; and three brothers. Abbey Parklawn Funeral Home, Palm Harbor.
