GUARNIERI, DOROTHY THERESA, 77, of Hernando, died Tuesday (June 20, 2000) at home. Born in Brooklyn, she came here 11 years ago from Ocala. She was a retired secretary for a collection company. She was Catholic. Survivors include a son, Rich, Spring Hill; a stepson, Raymond Goetz, Feeding Hills, Mass.; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Hatch, Feeding Hills; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Chas. E. UHLICH, MARGARET THERESA, 78, of Inverness, died Tuesday (June 20, 2000) at home. She came here 23 years ago from her native New York City and was a retired secretary for New York Telephone Co., with 32 years of service. HILL, CLARENCE "C.O.," 81, of Brooksville, died Wednesday (June 21, 2000) at Oak Hill Hospital, Spring Hill. Born in Portland, Tenn., he came here 20 years ago from Indianapolis and was a metallurgist for General Motors, Allison Division. He was an Army veteran and a member of Englewood Masonic Lodge F&AM, the Brooksville Elks 2582, and the Brookridge Golf Association. BEAL, SENECA W. SR., 78, of Tampa, died Thursday (June 22, 2000) at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Dunbar, Pa. He was a purchasing clerk for the U.S. government. He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include a son, Seneca W. BROWN, GEORGE CALVIN, 61, of Tampa, died Saturday (June 17, 2000) at James A. Haley VA Medical Ceanter. He was born in Tampa and remained a lifelong resident. He was a barber and owner of Brown's Modern Barber and Beauty Shop. He worked for several insurance companies, Central Life, Afro Life, Jackson National, Atlanta Life, and was an employee of the Greyhound for 37 years. He was a Navy veteran. COOPER, LUTHER H., 88, of Plant City, died Wednesday (June 21, 2000) at home. Born in Starke, he came to the area in 1930. He was a retired tunnel worker for IMC. He served in the National Guard and was a member and deacon at Midway Baptist Church. DYER, ROBERT C., 80, of Valrico, died Tuesday (June 20, 2000) at home. Born in Johnson City, N.Y., he came here 25 years ago. He retired as a cost analyst for IBM after 17 years of service. He was a member of Civil Defense during the Korean War; he was past president of IBM Club; past president of IBM Credit Union; past district deputy of the Odd Fellows; and was a member of Bell Shoals Baptist Church. He was a data processing manager for Solo Cup Co. and TRW, Chicago. He was a combat veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater. In the mid-1970s, he was vice mayor and Police Commission chairman of Redington Shores. He belonged to Faith Presbyterian Church, Seminole, the American Legion, VFW and the Masonic Order. He was a major in the Army Reserves. - WHITE, FRANK G. "FROGGIE," 86, of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (June 21, 2000) at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. Born in Englewood, N.J., he came here in 1983. He attended Cumberland University, Lebanon, Tenn., and played semiprofessional football for the Hackensack Steamrollers. He retired from the Railway Express Agency after 34 years of service and was Catholic. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Virginia; a son, Stephen F., Oldsmar; a daughter, Patricia Kane, Albany, Ga.; two sisters, Victoria Belanger and Katherine Sherman, both of Northfield, Vt.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. National Cremation Society, St. Petersburg.
