Respect for law officers erodes, gun battles erupt in our town
The killing of Lois Marrero sadly brings to mind that 1998 day of terror when Hank Earl Carr murdered Tampa Detectives Ricky Childers and Randy Bell and Florida Highway Trooper James "Brad" Crooks, but my sorrow is mixed with bewilderment.
