3 dogs seized in raid humanely destroyed
Three of the 24 dogs taken from a kennel north of Weeki Wachee last week have been humanely destroyed because they had parvo, a virus that can be fatal to dogs, Hernando Animal Services Supervisor Jim Varn said. Two other dogs also might be ill and will be examined today, Varn said, and the rest of the dogs will be vaccinated.
