Four boys arrested in burglaries
CRYSTAL RIVER -- Four Crystal River boys -- two of them 9 years old, the others 10 and 13 -- were arrested on multiple burglary counts Tuesday in connection with four burglaries in the W Sunny Day Court area. Among the items taken from the homes were ice cream cones, chocolate syrup, a dartboard, jewelry and a small television, officers reported.
Fog offers runners a little bit of relief
CHIEFLAND -- On Wednesday, Sheriff Jeff Dawsy brought along extra feet to run in the annual Key Training Center Run For the Money. Those feet belonged to Cmdr. Bob Blume and Sgt. Greg Farrell.
