Mystery author is 'codfather'
A few weeks ago, I retrieved a yellowed copy of a full-page St. Petersburg Times article circa 1977 about an author of a number of books on the virtues of cod liver oil, specifically its benefits for baseball pitchers' arms. In my haste to get this article to an Expos farm leaguer, I overlooked the necessity of jotting down this author's name, which is the first thing a library reference person needs in looking up the title of any of his works.
