Solutions: Troubleshooting errors at shutdown
Q. I received these Windows 98 error messages at shutdown. Both messages read: "An exception error has occurred at 0028:C0030964 in vxd. This was called from 0028:C002F161 in vxd. It may be possible to continue normally. Press any key to continue." When I did, the next exception message came up: "Fatal exception occurred in 0028:00000009." I pressed a key and continued with my shutdown. If this continues, should I be concerned? What should I do?
