ARCAND, NELLIE B., 89, of Hernando, died Tuesday (July 25, 2000) at Citrus Health & Rehabilitation Center, Inverness. She was born in Eufaula, Ala., and was a homemaker. She was Baptist. JOYNER, CHARLES A., 78, of Hernando, died Tuesday (July 25, 2000). Born in Albany, N.Y., he came here 21 years ago from Lee, Mass. He was a retired Teamster and member of the Teamsters Union Local 294. He was Catholic and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis I. Rawling; two daughters, Phyllis J. LUCAS, JOHN, 86, of Beverly Hills, formerly of Holiday, died Tuesday (July 18, 2000) at Surrey Place, Lecanto. Born in Binghamton, N.Y., he came here nine years ago from Holiday and was retired from General Motors Corp. He was Greek Orthodox and an Army Air Forces veteran of World War II. McCASKEY, LISA LEE, 35, of Homosassa, died Monday (July 24, 2000) at Seven Rivers Community Hospital, Crystal River. Born in Highland Park, Mich., she came here 20 years ago from Detroit and was a receptionist for Midway Animal Hospital. She was Protestant. Survivors include a daughter, Jeneanne, Homosassa; her mother, Jean B. WARD, DENNIS R., 96, of Lecanto, died Thursday (July 27, 2000). Born in Bronx, N.Y., he came to Beverly Hills 32 years ago from New York City, moving to Lecanto eight months ago. He was a retired lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Army. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, a lifetime member of the Harry F. Nesbit Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10087, both of Beverly Hills, and an honorary citizen of Boys Town U.S.A. Survivors include two nephews, Francis D. BOWMAN, JAMES E., 57, of Brooksville, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at Heartland of Brooksville. Born in Spartanburg, S.C., he came here 18 years ago from Miami and was a commercial electrician. He was Baptist and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. BROWN, BLON H., 75, of Brooksville, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at Brooksville Regional Hospital. Born in Bonifay, he came here 15 years ago from Wildwood and was a mechanic. He was a Navy veteran and a member of the Brooksville Assembly of God Church and the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, Mertie; two sons, Blon Hubert Jr., Bonifay, and John Richard, Brooksville; a daughter, Barbara Mylrea, Brooksville; two sisters, Betty Jane Lewis, Atlanta, and Mary Baxley, Bonifay; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. CONKLIN, ROSEMARY M., 79, of Spring Hill, died Monday (July 24, 2000) at home. Born in Detroit, she came here 30 years ago from Berkley, Mich. She was a retail saleswoman and a member of Gulfview Grace Brethren. ENOS, WILLIAM E. "BUDDY," 79, of Spring Hill, died Saturday (July 22, 2000) at Heartland of Brooksville. Born in Boston, he came here many years ago from Miami and was a retired owner of East Coast Sail Makers. He was Catholic and a veteran of World War II. He was a charter member of the Miami Yacht Club and a member of the American Legion. MARRERO, JOYCE, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000). Born in New York, she came here 24 years ago from Douglaston, N.Y. She was an office manager and member of Northcliff Baptist Church. GORDON, LULA MAE, 86, of Tampa, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. Born here, she remained a lifelong resident. She was an assembly line worker for a shrimp plant and was a member of Providence Baptist Church. MURRAY, FRANK "JACK," 76, of Coral Springs, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (July 25, 2000) at home. Born in LaGrange, Ga., he lived in Coral Springs for the past four years. He was an equipment operator for Continental Can Co. He was a member of the American Legion and was Baptist. GRIMA, JOHN F. SR., 73, of Port Richey, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000) at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. Born in Malta, he came here 20 years ago from Sterling Heights, Mich. He was a road tester in the automobile industry for Detroit Forge and Axle and was a member of the 1954 Detroit City League Soccer Champions. He was a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, the Italian Club, and the Knights of Columbus Father Felix Ullrich Assembly 1565. NASUTA, FRANCES ELIZABETH, 76, of Holiday, died Thursday (July 27, 2000) at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital, Tarpon Springs. She came here 17 years ago from her native Kilgore, Ohio, and was a retired auditor and treasurer for the clerk of Carroll County, Ohio. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Tarpon Springs, and former member and longtime Sunday school superintendent at Kilgore United Methodist Church. PENCKOFER, MICHAEL C., 73, of Hudson, died Wednesday (July 26, 2000). Born in Chicago, he came here 10 years ago from Elmhurst, Ill., and was a machinist for Stevadine. She was born in O'Brien, moved as a child to Clearwater and lived many years in Macon. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Trinity Presbyterian Church of Macon. He was born in Jersey City, N.J., and came here in 1976. He worked as general manager for Jo-El's Kosher food. She worked as a group leader of inspections at Essilor of America, St. Petersburg, and graduated with honors from Pinellas Tech. She was a member of Pathways Community Church, Seminole. Born in Oakmont, Pa., she came here in 1924 and moved to Pittsburgh in 1957. She and her husband owned the John S. Cass insurance agency in St. Pete Beach. She attended the University of Michigan and St. Petersburg Junior College. She also took literature and writing courses at the University of Pittsburgh and attended Ellis School in Pittsburgh. She was a member of the poetry group at Calvary Episcopal Church, Pittsburgh.
