In search of old high school annuals
It's August, and, as parents' fancies lightly turn to the kids going back to school, some older, former students are having another kind of academic flashback: high school annuals -- they want them.

Postmark doesn't count as payment
Question: If our management company has not received our monthly fees by the 10th of the month, it adds a late fee to our account. We send our payment from an out-of-state bank. Since it is postmarked by the 10th, how can they charge us late fees?

Records exist for nearly every person who served in the armed forces. Not every file is brimming with genealogical data, but some, especially pension files, are packed with vital information. These usually contain proof of marriage and births of children and tie one generation to another.

Tampa complex garners awards
The Madison at SoHo, a 360-unit apartment project in Tampa's South of Howard neighborhood, won this year's Golden Aurora award from the Florida Home Builders Association.

Architects' work rewarded
Several Tampa Bay area architects were honored July 27 with 2001 design awards presented by the Tampa Bay chapter of the American Institute of Architects.
