  • CURTIS, ALBERT LEE, 64, of Inverness, died Saturday (Aug. 12, 2000). Born in Luxora, Ark., he came here 11 years ago from Kokomo, Ind. and was a retired machinist for Chrysler Motors there. He was Protestant. He was an Army veteran, a member of the United Auto Workers of Kokomo and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 3992, Inverness. Survivors include his wife, Caroline M. Spring Curtis; a son, Tracy Lee, Inverness; a stepson, Robert K.   • MARKLEY, JACK EDWARD, 79, of Inverness, died Friday (Aug. 11, 2000). Born in Erie, Pa., he came here 17 years ago from Cocoa Beach. He was a retired naval chief warrant officer and a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, and was the recipient of a bronze star. He was also a retired electrical engineer from Lockheed-Martin, Groton, Conn., with 21 years of service. He was Protestant and a member of the Retired Officers Association. Survivors include his wife, Florence A.   • ADORNO, MARIA, 76, of Dade City, formerly of Tampa, died Tuesday (Aug. 8, 2000) at Heritage Park Specialty Care Center, Dade City. Born in San Tuce, Puerto Rico, she moved to Dade City two years ago from Tampa. She was a homemaker and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Kingston, N.Y. He designed the Kapok Tree Inn restaurants as well as many private homes. He was a 32nd Degree Mason, the International Brotherhood of Painters, and was Brethren.   • ALLARD, JAMES EUGENE, 79, of Clearwater, died Sunday (Aug. 13, 2000) at home. He came here in 1996 from his native Torrington, Conn., where he retired as a security guard for The Torrington Co. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Center Congregational Church of Torrington. Survivors include his wife, Betty Ann; a son, Eddy Baier, Santa Anna, Calif.; and a daughter, Patricia Allard, Salt Lake City.   • COLES, LOURDES R., 85, of Clearwater, formerly of Tampa, died Saturday (Aug. 12, 2000) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. She was born in Manila, Philippines, came to Tampa in 1980 from New York and moved in 1995 to Clearwater. She retired as office manager at the denominational headquarters for the United Church of Christ, New York City. She was a member of The Cathedral of Jesus of Nazareth, Tampa, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 5298, Springfield Gardens, N.Y.
