Lawyer accused in scam wins reversal on appeal
An appellate court has reversed the conviction of a St. Petersburg lawyer accused in an investment scam that netted $11-million.

ST. PETERSBURG -- The St. Petersburg City Council is shirking its duty by failing to debate whether the city's human rights ordinance should protect people based on their sexual orientation, activists said Friday at a news conference outside City Hall.
