About 150 events are listed in this year's On the Town Calendar, and by my count, if you attended most of them, you would spend a minimum of $5,000 for tickets. You won't save the world, but you will be helping to make our corner of it a little bit better. The parties and special events benefit dozens of arts organizations, social service agencies and medical facilities. Some are still being planned so details are missing. I will add them in my weekly column as they emerge. I will be at a lot of these parties and I want to see you there, too. And one more thing: Life's a banquet; save room for the creme brulee.
