Couple reports attack outside grocery store
SPRING HILL -- Authorities are looking for three men who tried to rob a couple outside a Spring Hill grocery store. The couple had gone to an automatic teller machine just outside Publix at 160 Mariner Blvd. on Tuesday night. As the woman got inside the car, the man was attacked. The three men did not get any money and eventually ran away, a Hernando County sheriff's report said. The man described his attackers as three black men in their early 20s. The first had medium-length dreadlocks, a large silver chain necklace and wore a blue shirt and blue jeans, a report said. The second had short, braided cornrows and wore a blue shirt and jeans. The third was wearing jean shorts and a white T-shirt, the report said. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 754-6830.
