Unexpected hazard

[Times photo: Ron Thompson]
Officials at Skyview at Citrus Hills golf course inspect a sinkhole Thursday. Heavy rains on Wednesday may have caused the sinkhole to develop along the 18th hole (formerly the ninth hole) at the golf course. The sinkhole was adjacent to a drainage retention area and didn't threaten any residential property, director of golf Peter Summers said. Crews were preparing to work on the sinkhole Thursday. |
