NO GUNS AT NEW TAMPA WAL-MART: Wal-Mart Stores Inc. on Thursday gave in to mounting community pressure and agreed not to sell guns at a store opening next month next to Wharton High School. It was an about-face for the company, which now says it will neither stock nor sell rifles or shotguns at its store scheduled to open Oct. 11. Customers will be able to order guns from the store. "We just feel it was the right decision given all the feedback we received," said Jessica Moser, spokeswoman for Wal-Mart.
