INDIAN SHORES -- While most area hospitals stayed calm as Hurricane Gordon blew by the coast, one clinic was flooded with dozens of injured patients.
"Thank goodness! How many years has it been?" Commissioner J.B. Johnson said just after the vote. The commission decided officially that the new library will be 90,000 square feet, with 44,000 square feet of the interior unfinished.
