Mobile home repairs questioned
My sister owned a mobile home in Largo that my husband and I sold for her when she moved to an assisted living facility. Before we closed on the property, termite damage was discovered. We were sent an estimate for repairs of $2,500. We placed this amount in an escrow account with Select Mobile Homes Sales, which was handling the sale. We were told that at closing, if the amount of the repairs was less than $2,500, the balance would be sent to my sister. From what we saw, the cost to repair this damage should be well under the $2,500.
