ST. PETERSBURG -- A new treatment center for Pinellas County's drug court was pitched as a local effort for local addicts caught in an endless cycle of drugs and crime.

ST. PETERSBURG -- The parents of a girl injured in 1997 after being misplaced by caregivers at an after-school program were awarded a $41,000 verdict this week by a Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Court jury.
