Arts&Entertainment: October 22, 2000 Venue changed for Molly Hatchet show
Molly Hatchet will appear at Planet Rock, 11236 W Hillsborough Ave., Tampa, at 7 p.m. today. Tickets are $15. The show originally had been scheduled for today at Tahiti Joe's in Ybor City. Tickets purchased in advance for that venue will be honored at Planet Rock.

Dallas Black Dance provides energetic, refreshing theater
ST. PETERSBURG -- There was something refreshing about the Dallas Black Dance Theatre's performance Friday night at Mahaffey Theatre. Perhaps it was because there wasn't a household name among the seven choreographers whose works were on the program. Instead of drawing from the pantheon of modern dancemakers, many of whom have set pieces for DBDT, the company performed works by Darryl Sneed, Gary Abbott, Kirby Reed and other relative unknowns.
