Fight to end term limits not over, supporters say

TAMPA -- Voters drove a big stake through the movement to repeal term limits for the Tampa mayor Tuesday, with 58 percent saying what local voters have said before: Eight years is enough.

TAMPA -- Sophomore Fany Schaeffer shot a final-round 73 at the Pine Needles Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C., and took home medalist honors with a 54-hole 3-over-par 216 to lead USF to a second-place finish at the Pine Needles Collegiate.

Artist weaves tale of loss and tribute
On Aug. 22, 1999, Christie Safos' stepfather, Robert Price, was killed by an out-of-control truck as he sat on his front porch in Tampa. From that moment her art changed. "That's when I realized: it all has to be about (the loss)," she said.
