  • MATHEU, RAYMOND F., 92, of Inverness, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 2000) at Brentwood Health Care Center. Born in Cuba, he came here 26 years ago from Queens, N.Y. He was a chef in the restaurant business, an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Matheu; and a son, Raymond G., Queens. He was a retired Massachusetts state police officer and was Catholic.   • MCDONALD, DANIEL E., 69, of Inglis, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2000). Born in Bagdad, Fla., he moved to Orlando 18 years ago from Charleston, S.C., relocated to St. Petersburg in the early 1990s and moved to Inglis seven years ago. He was a retired lieutenant commander for the Navy and was Baptist. He was a member of the VFW American Legion, Sheriff's Association, DAV Navy Areo Flight Club and PasoFino Horse Association.   • EDGETT, JOHN D. "JOHNNY," of Odessa, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2000) in Tampa. He was born in Corry, Pa. He retired in 1966 after 20 years of service in the Air Force. He attained the rank of mastersergeant in 1960. He was a member of the National Association of Uniform Services, Retired Enlisted Association, Disabled American Veterans, Air Force Sergeant Association, and American Military Society. He was a life member of VFW, and served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He retired from the Coast Guard as a chief petty officer in Miami. He was Baptist. She wrote newsletters and coordinated events and activities, and was a member of Zephyrhills Christian Church.   • BATTERSBY MARY BRASCH, 50, of New Port Richey, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 2000) at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point. Born in California, she came here 18 years ago from Kenosha, Wis. She was co-owner of Phil's Pressure Cleaning and Painting, New Port Richey, and employed in the resource recovery department of the Pasco County School Board, Land O'Lakes. She was Catholic.   • COEN, WAYNE JAMES, 79, of New Port Richey, died Saturday (Nov. 18, 2000) at Windsor Woods Convalescent Center, Hudson. He came here eight years ago from his native Pittsburgh and was a retired firefighter. He was an Army veteran of World War II, Troop D, 25th Cavalry Reconnaissance Squadron, 4th Armored Division, and received a Purple Heart, a Bronze Star Medal, a distinguished unit badge, and a service medal with five bronze stars. He was Presbyterian. Survivors include two daughters, Nancy J. Riley, New Port Richey, and Janice L. Born in Birmingham, Iowa, he moved to Safety Harbor in 1996 from Oskaloosa, Iowa, moved to Tarpon Springs in 1998 and moved to New Port Richey in May. He was a retired owner of Intraco Inc., Oskaloosa, and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Oskaloosa and a the Iowa Export Council, Des Moines.   • LABRECQUE, JOSEPH "PHIL," 87, of New Port Richey, died Friday (Nov. 17, 2000) at Hernando-Pasco Hospice House, Hudson. Born in Laconia, N.H., he came here 25 years ago from Connecticut. He was a retired security officer for United Technologies Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, New Port Richey. He entered the military in 1938 with the Yankee Division 172 Field Artillery of the New Hampshire National Guard, reaching the rank of sergeant. She was born in Detroit and came here in 1975 from Dearborn, Mich., where she worked for five years for J. Walter Thompson. She was a member of Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church, where she served as a youth leader. She was a cub scout and girl scout leader. She served on the elections board in Dearborn and participated in Shriner functions. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, William A. Sr; a son, William A.     • ZAMMIT, GEORGE A., 66, of Dunedin, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2000) at home under the care of Hospice of the Florida Suncoast. He was born in Detroit and came here 15 years ago from Buffalo, N.Y. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War, serving in the medical field. He worked as a national product manager and vice president for Chemical Specialists. He was a member of St. Michael's Church, Dunedin. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 275, both of Dunedin, and Old Fort Harrison VFW Post 2473, Clearwater. He coached little league baseball, football and softball. She was born in Newman Grove, Neb., and lived in Largo for 20 years before moving to Detroit in 1977. She was a member of Wesley Bible Sunday School class and First United Methodist Church of Largo, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women. She was an avid reader, traveler and crocheter.     • KEENY, CARVELL "GUY," 78, of Oldsmar, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2000) at home. He was born in Olivet, Mich., and came here in 1953 from Michigan. He was a sales executive for Raymond James and Channel 10. He was a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Forces and a bombadier during World War II. He participated in the China, Burma and India theater and won numerous awards, including the Flying Cross. He was a Presbyterian. He was active in community theater in Clearwater and St. Petersburg. He was an Air Force veteran and an aerial reconnaissance photographer while stationed in Japan and Korea. He also served with the Australian air force. He was an antiques dealer in St. Petersburg.     • SULLIVAN, MARGARET CORRINE CLINK, 98, of Gulfport, died Thursday (Nov. 23, 2000) at home. Born in Ballville, Ohio, she came here in 1975. She graduated from the Oberlin Conservatory in Oberlin, Ohio, in 1925 and was a cellist in the Chicago Women's Symphony from 1926 to 1931. She was a piano and cello instructor at the University of Illinois music school from 1931 to 1939 and, until 1967, gave private lessons while playing cello in the University of Illinois Symphony and the Champaign-Urbana Community Orchestra, which she helped organize. Locally, she played with a piano trio, Valencia, and the Bay Area Chamber Strings, which gave six concerts a year. She was a piano accompanist for the Lithuanian Chorus in St. Petersburg and played for various nursing homes. She was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.
