Born in Calumet City, Ill., she came here 24 years ago from Lansing, Ill., and was a homemaker. She was Catholic. ASH, FRANCES J., 87, of Inverness, died Monday (Nov. 27, 2000). Born in Ontario, Canada, she came here 29 years ago from Southfield, Mich. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, its Catholic Women's Group, and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. DENNY, ELLIE M., 80, of Inglis, died Monday (Nov. 27, 2000) at Cypress Cove Care Center, Crystal River, under the care of her family and Hospice of Citrus County. Born in Berlin, Germany, she came here seven years ago from Lake City, Minn., and was a retired secretary. She was Lutheran. DuFOUR, PAUL STANLEY, 84, of Inverness, died Monday (Nov. 27, 2000) at Citrus Health aand Rehabilitation Center. Born in Utica, N.Y., he came here 10 years ago from Deltona and was a retired heavy equipment operator for Local 825, New York. He was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and an Army veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Norma Duquette DuFour; a son, Gregory A., Huntersville, N.C.; two daughters, Karen Loger, Inverness, and Mary Anne Lecce, Collinsville, Ill.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. HAVENS, IMOGENE W., 69, of Homosassa, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 2000). Born in Montcalm, W.Va., she came here 11 years ago from Bluefield, W.Va. She was a retired hair stylist and member of the First Baptist Church. PELLEGRINI, ALFRED J., 79, of Spring Hill, died Monday (Nov. 27, 2000) at Heartland of Brooksville. Born in Bronx, N.Y., he came here 22 years ago from New Jersey. BELL, SADIE CAMPBELL, 93, of Seffner, died Monday (Nov. 27, 2000) at Delta Healthcare. Born in Tampa, she came back in 1965 from Fort Myers. She was a homemaker, she was a member of Mystic Chapter No. 110, National Quilting Association and she organized the "Krazy Quilters" in Temple Terrace in 1977. ELLIOTT, LILLIE MAE, 81, of Tampa, died Tuesday (Nov. 21, 2000) in Tampa. Born in Dade City, she came here more than 25 years ago. EMBRY, ROY V., 70, of Inverness, formerly of Riverview, died Friday (Nov. 24, 2000) at Citrus Memorial Hospital, Inverness. Born in Louisville, Ky., he moved to Inverness six years ago from Riverview and was a box culvert construction superintendent. He was Baptist and an Army veteran of the Korean War. JOHNSON, J.S. "SID," 82, of Plant City, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 2000) at South Florida Baptist Hospital. Born in Waldo, he was a longtime Tampa area resident. SMITH, JOHNNY W. "J.W.," 55, of Tampa, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 2000) at home under the care of LifePath Hospice. He was a Tampa native. He worked for Stroh's Brewery in Tampa for 35 years. He was a former member of Teamsters Union Local No. 388, was an Army veteran and was Baptist. Survivors include a daughter, Angela Thurman, Tampa; three brothers; a sister; and four grandchildren. WATERS, CHARLES ALLISON, 73, of Brandon, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 2000) in Tampa. He was born in Jasper and raised in Arcadia and Nocatee before coming to the Tampa area. He was director of commissary operations in the Army, serving for 36 years. He was a Mason. Born in Philadelphia, he lived in New Port Richey for 20 years before moving to Maryville. He retired from both Atlantic Richfield and Century 21 Real Estate and was an Army veteran of World War II. Born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, she was raised in Weymouth, Mass., and lived in Reading and Plymouth, Mass., before coming here. She was a member of the Christadelphian Ecclesia at Cataumet, Bourne, Mass., its organist and pianist, and member of the Hammond Organ Club. Survivors include two daughters, Carol S. Born in Columbus, Ohio, he was a winter resident for four years from Old Bridge. He was an automobile mechanic for Public Service Electric and Gas Co., Edison, N.J., and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was Lutheran and a member of the United Auto Workers Local 94, Hightstown, N.J., and the VFW Post, Old Bridge. Born in Chicago, he came here 28 years ago from Michigan City, Ind., and was a commercial artist for Baker Lithographic, Chicago. He was Lutheran, member of the New Port Richey Elks 2284, and past president and co-founder of the Hillandale Glengarry Association. She retired after 40 years as a file clerk with USF&G Insurance. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Daniel L.; a daughter, Jeanne H. NIVEN, MARCIA L., 98, of Mount Dora, formerly of Clearwater, died Wednesday (Nov. 22, 2000) at her home. She moved to Mount Dora in 1973 from Clearwater where she lived for many years since coming to Florida from New England. She was a free-lance artist and graduated from the Boston College of Arts. She was a member of the Oleander Garden Club and the Mount Dora Center for the Arts. Survivors include a son, Donald, Mount Dora; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. NOLAN, FREDA M., 88, of Clearwater, formerly of Tampa, died Saturday (Nov. 25, 2000) at Mariner Health Care of Clearwater. She came to Tampa more than 40 years ago from her native Rimer, Ohio, and in 1972 she moved to Clearwater. She was a homemaker. She attended Seminole Community Chapel and was a member of the Garden Club of Largo. Survivors include a brother, Thomas Richard Rimer, Columbus Grove, Ohio; three sisters, Ester, Camden, Mich., Shirley Williams, Foster, Ala., and Ruth Mitchell, Greensboro, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. RADCLIFFE, HARRY WILLIAM, 59, of Clearwater, died Tuesday (Nov. 28, 2000) at Bayview Nursing Pavilion, Clearwater. He came here in 1995 from his native Charleston, W.Va., where he retired as a schoolteacher for the Kanawha County Schools. He graduated from West Virginia State College and Greenbriar Military Academy, Lewisburg, W.Va. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church of Charleston, the Charleston Masonic Lodge F&AM, and the Shrine, Elks and Moose Lodges, all of West Virginia. - BARTLETT, HAZEL E., 96, of South Pasadena, died Monday (Nov. 27, 2000) at the Springs at Boca Ciega Bay. Born in Brooklyn, Mich., she came here in 1944 from Detroit. She was a medical secretary for the Veterans Administration. She was a member of Unity Christian Church in South Pasadena, Toastmasters in St. Petersburg and the Suncoast Handicap Association. She was named Florida's Outstanding Handicapped Person in 1965. She had been active in a local camping club. She also enjoyed traveling and being with family. Survivors include a niece, Frances Teeter, and a nephew, Joseph Williams, both of Beaver Island, Mich.; two grandnieces; and a cousin. - WEITZ, LUCY L., 82, of South Pasadena, died Tuesday (Nov. 28, 2000) at Pasadena Manor. She came here in 1970 from her native Brooklyn, N.Y., and was a secretary for the First Gulf Beach Bank. She was an active member of the Body Dynamics Fitness Center and a member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, Gulfport. Survivors include her husband, Charles; a brother; Calvin Cardieri, South Pasadena; three sisters, Susie Busacco and Carmella Norato, both of St. Pete Beach, and Christine Russo, Long Island, N.Y.; and three grandchildren.
