Busch Garden newcomers

[Times photo: Kristen Schmid]
Emily Swanborg, 5, left, and her brother, Matthew, 7, examine one of two 8-week-old Bengal tigers that arrived at Busch Gardens on a first-class passenger flight Friday afternoon. The tigers came from St. Louis' Department of Environmental Health, which confiscated them from a private owner. Although the tigers weigh only 13 pounds now, they could become as large as 400 pounds. They will stay at Busch Gardens, moving to a larger habitat when they are ready. |
