Airlines want pilot stun guns
WASHINGTON -- The Taser, a stun gun that zaps people with 50,000 volts, has been used for years to subdue criminals. The manufacturer calls it the Los Angeles Police Department's "weapon of choice" for criminals who are "mentally deranged."
