Fit for a pharoah: Known as the solar boat, this craft was rebuilt over 14 years from about 1,200 pieces of cedarwood found in a pit next to the Great Pyramid. The 140-foot-long boat is thought to have been one that carried Pharoah Khufu along the Nile; it is Khufu who was buried in the Great Pyramid.
