TAMPA -- Willie Sexton, ordered by his father, Eddie Lee Sexton, to kill another family member in 1993, was sentenced Tuesday to 25 years in prison.

Willie Sexton, described as borderline mentally retarded, told the jury during his father's murder trial that his father had repeatedly sexually and physically abused him since childhood.

While his parents were on the run from child-abuse allegations in Ohio and camping in a Florida park, Willie Sexton testified, his father ordered him to kill another family member, Joel Good. Authorities would later find Good's body, along with that of an infant family member, buried in two different parks.

Eddie Lee Sexton was convicted of first-degree murder, and a jury recommended a sentence of death. Willie Sexton agreed to plead guilty to second-degree murder in exchange for a 25-year sentence.
