Windows 2000 unveiling planned

Microsoft will have a daylong event Feb. 17 to unveil Windows 2000, its new business operating system. The event will be at the University of South Florida's Special Events Center in Tampa from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will include demonstrations of the system and a live TV feed of Microsoft chief executive Bill Gates discussing Windows 2000 from San Francisco. The event is free, but registration is required, either by phone, (877) 673-8368, or online, http://events.microsoft.com. The event code is 28821.
