BEST FOR KIDS AND TEENS: Kidsreads.com and Teenreads.com recently announced their picks for the Best Books of the year for young people. Aesop's Fables, retold and illustrated by Jerry Pinkney, topped the list for kids. The Amber Spyglass by Philip Pullman was No. 1 on the teen's list.
