SEMINOLE -- Two people were taken to local hospitals after a 2:30 p.m. crash at 86th Avenue and Oakhurst Road, according to emergency officials. The crash was believed to have involved four vehicles.

Two people involved in the crash refused transport to the hospital, while one went to Sun Coast Hospital. A fourth person went by ambulance to Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg as a trauma alert, which usually means injuries are serious, according to emergency officials.

No other information about the crash was available Tuesday. Florida Highway Patrol troopers did not release information about the crash late Tuesday.
