18-year resident joins Fire Commission

LEALMAN -- Two months after its inception, the Fire Commission has a full membership. Rebecca Harriman has been appointed to fill Seat 2, vacant because no one ran for it in the November election.
Harriman, 43, has lived in Lealman for about 18 years. She has no previous political experience but is a member of the Lealman Community Association, serving on a walk-around committee that is questioning residents about the problems they face and their goals for the Lealman area.
She is the wife of Fred Harriman, who previously served on the Lealman Fire Board.
